Taylor Swift writes all of her songs which is why she has been so successful. She was influenced by her country idols: Shania Twain, Faith Hill, and the Dixie Chicks. She also mentions that her inspiration for her first hit, "Tim McGraw", came from the song "Can't Tell Me Nothin'" by Tim McGraw. She also explains that while writing songs, if nothing is coming to her, she just puts the guitar away because she knows she cannot push herself to write a song if she is not inspired. |
